I DID NOT KNOW THAT THE DUDES IN THE ACACIA STRAIN ARE BLACK

If I was a betting man, I’d wager that at some point in their lives, the members of The Acacia Strain have been stuck with that most awful of labels – “wiggers” (I betcha thought I was gonna say “deathcore,” didn’t cha?). So there’s probably a deep, sociological statement being made with their new, David Brodsky-directed video, “Skynet,” which forgoes any obvious Terminator references in lieu of imagining a world where all the members of The Acacia Strain are African-Americans.

But, of course, you can also just enjoy the clip as a funny video powered by a br00tal death metal song. Your choice.

    Ok, so the video = Stupid. Just like all the other Acacia Strain videos. But I’ll be damned if these guys don’t out on an outstanding show. Great live performers. They should’ve capitalized on that instead. I would have been happier with a video like Whitechapel & Suicide Silence had with footage from their shows.

    honestly, instead of just saying “poser shit” or just bashing the band in general, why don’t you back up what you say? Worst part of death(core) metal are the infinite douchebags who listen to something new and just hate on it, if you’ve got a problem w/ the band then at least post why, otherwise from my perspective you just look like a dick.
