The Acacia Strain’s Devin Shidaker is the Cuddliest Waifu as a Body Pillow Case
Have you ever wanted to cuddle up next to a deathcore guitarist, yet you’re cursed with the social skills of a newly skunked basset hound? Then boy do the folks at The Acacia Strain have just the thing for your sorry ass. Taking a page out of every weeaboo’s favorite merchandise catalogs, the Massachusetts-based outfit is now offering full-sized body pillows of their guitarist Devin Shidaker.
Yes, that’s a real item. It’s listed on their site for $36 dollars right now under the title “Devin-kun Dakimakura” (or デヴィンくん 抱き枕 as Google Translate thinks it’s supposed to be written in Japanese). Coming in at 54″ x 20″, it’s probably not to scale. But as long as you have a body pillow that fits, you can take this pillow case and …really do whatever you want… with an illustration of the man himself.
If this sort of thing is exactly what you need to fill that empty void in your chest cavity, then by all means you should grab one for yourself. Just do it soon because the band is only going to be selling these until August 13.
