Woe of Tyrants are currently out on the road as part of the MetalSucks co-sponsored Baptized in Beer tour with Bison B.C. and Lazarus A.D. Woe of Tyrants vocalist Chris Catanzaro was cool enough to offer to do a special tour blog for us. Check it out below, and get complete Baptized in Beer tour dates here!

Hey everyone, just checking in from Gallup, NM where we played Monday night on the Baptized in Beer tour with Bison B.C. and Lazarus A.D. It was our first time playing on a Native American reservation, and I hope it’s not the last because those kids knew how to party and support the tour. Kickass times!

The shows have been killer so far, and we are extremely thankful to be touring with badass bands that are not only amazing musicians, but also all around bodacious people that know how to shotgun brews!

Another big plus on this run was our stop in Ft. Worth, TX as our friends Lina and Dustin barbecued at the show for all of the bands; boneless ribs, home cooked grub, couldn’t have been better. For some reason in my belligerent brilliance, I decided that I wanted to dedicate a song to James of Bison. I wasn’t aware that Brad and Dan, also of Bison, would take that so hard, as they instantly started booing and hitting me with PBR cans while I was playing.

Our drummer Johnny’s birthday is today (July 29th) in Las Vegas, so if you want to see him vomit all over himself in public make sure you are at the show! Also, I know all of the bands are stoked for Anaheim and seeing our Metal Blade family on Thursday (July 30th), which is always a great time. We have just a few more stops left on the west coast before heading back home, so please, if you want to see a badass real metal show, come out and drink a beer or 38 with us.

Much love,

Chris Catanzaro/WOE OF TYRANTS

Check back tomorrow for another special Baptized in Beer tour blog, this one from Bison B.C.’s Dan And!
