ENSIFERUM MAKE THE LAZIEST VIDEO EVER

I like Ensiferum. Seriously, I do. But what the fuck is going on in their new video, “From Afar?” No one wanted to play their instrument? Or at least hold their instrument? Or even, y’know, move?

Maybe they just asked a former member of Dimmu Borgir to please pack their gear for them, and then he forgot. I bet that’s it. That has to be it. Right?

    Yeah, the whole time I was expecting them to do something, like move, or brandish weapons or something. Instead they didn’t. It’s still worlds better than Ahti at least. But that’s not saying too much.

    I thought the video wasn’t bad… kinda creepy, and pretty cheesy, but still halfway decent. The song, of course, and the album, are fucking awesome. It was kinda funny when everyone else started singing.

    Of all the fun things you could think of while listening to ensiferum, this is how the song is portrayed… Where’s the glorious battle video this music deserves!!?

    The song is amazing! It sounds like their touring with Turisas has rubbed off on them. I like this better than most of Victory Songs. They have never had very good videos though. The video for the song “Ahti” didnt have any of the band members in the video at all. I am gonna go get this record tomorrow though, stoked!!!

    Love the song, but the video… yeah… what annoys me most is the way it cuts between shots of Pettri singing with one hand up to both hands up. That just irks me. And the fact that Emmi looks like a zombie… she’s usually quite cute!
