And not just the solo part of the solo – although Ryan Knight is playing a killer solo – but also what the rest of the band is doing during the solo. That whole start-stop thing makes me wanna stab someone in the neck with a screwdriver or pen every time I hear it, and I mean that as a compliment.
And listen to that crowd, man! The chanting! Few things are more metal than a good chant. It’s part of the fundamental dichotomy of being a headbanger: we’re supposed to be sullen, serious people, but we love a good opportunity to all cheer in unison like some date raping fratboy at a kegger.
Deflorate is out now on Metal Blade. There are a lotta other good songs on it, too. If you have a favorite that isn’t “Christ Deformed,” why don’t you share with the group?

I sing an handful of songs in my band and I just grab my junk like an MC. It keeps my hand from hitting me in the face and it feels great! It’s a win win.

i might have made a mistake the lead singer of BDM is a fucktard Chance Garnette of Skeletonwitch wins at life. BDM is def a weak band with cookie cutter riffs and meh breakdowns. where is Ziltoid to back me up (at least with the BDM comments)

All of the songs are pretty good, but I think if I had to choose one, It’d be Throne Of Lunacy.
This is the only BDM album I have, but That Which Erodes blahblahblah is the best, in my opinion. Great solo.
I’ve seen them twice, and was enamored every second. Crazy amazing live.
Gotta say I Will Return and Necropolis are my favorites off Deflorate, but as with all of their albums, I love every single song.

I like all the songs, if I had to choose a favourite it might be I Will Return, but there are at least three or four other songs on the CD that are also my favourite. Throne of Lunacy is the best solo on the CD

‘Necropolis’ and ‘A Selection Unnatural’ are pretty awesome too.
I will return is like nothing else they have ever written, but the whole album makes me want to put my dick in the little hole in the middle of the disc. in a good way.
Hmmmm… I don’t think there’s a song i DONT like on there, but Necropolis is definitely my favorite, the solo has a lot of fucking feel, and the video is them BOWLING, one of my favorite passtimes. Deflorate is just overall win, though.

Black Valor is the best song, IMO, on Deflorate. Shit is fast as fuck and the solo is epic.

Track 5 and 10 are the best songs on the album, even though they really don’t sound like BDM songs.
Christ Deformed is one of the standouts on a very, very strong album, but I Will Return has to be my favourite track.
No doubt Throne of Lunacy is my favorite. Lyrically and musically it’s their best song to date..IMO.
Deflorate kicks lots of asses and brutaly stabs them after the kicking. Death Panorama, Necropolis and Black Valor are sick and make me wanna fuck somebody up. Just bought the album for $36 (that is how much they charge over here in the Netherlands), but its worth every fucking penny.

I Will Return is one of favorite songs right now. I can never get the lines at the end of the song “Heresy, some say it’s blasphemy. Assuring I’ll be in Hell when God is through with me.” Of Christ Deformed, Death Panaorama, and Throne of Lunacy are great. Fuck it, the whole cd!!!
