THE RED CHORD GO FOR BURGERS & BOWLING

Holy shit, do I wanna see The Red Chord play a full headlining set. If you ask me, Fed Through the Teeth Machine was the best album of 2009, and I wanna hear them play a substantial portion of it – but I also wanna hear them play a substantial portion of their other records, too. That’s gonna take more than thirty minutes I think.

Luckily, the band has announced a headlining trek: the Burgers & Bowling tour will find TRC with support from Mychildren Mybride, Those Who Lie Beneath, and Chelsea Grin, who, for better or worse, I once made fun of while playing “Thrash It or Trash It” on the Metal Injection Livecast. Oh well.

The tour doesn’t seem to have any dates especially close to the Mansion, so I’m considering driving to South Hackensack, NJ. SOUTH HACKENSACK. The Red Chord will make a man do crazy things.

    The problem with South Hackencrack, The School of Rock is an all ages venue with no bar, it basically a big room that has shows. I dont know, I just enjoy a cold overpriced beer while rocking and not having the feeling of being the oldest person in the room at 30.

      be happy your getting this tour at all Mass isnt getting anything. The closest for us is in CT and thats like a two hour plus drive from boston

    quit bitching, sout hackensack is a whole 30 minutes from the city. if you like the band so much i’m sure you’ll find a way to cope with the arduous journey.

    He’s wearling a TRC shirt. Lame. But… This band kills!!!! Too bad there’s no Chicago dates. I have seen them twice a while back, but I would love to hear them play some new stuff live.

    ok this is the second tour i’ve seen lately where the only california date is in fucking PALMDALE?!? who the fuck tours in palmdale??

      Everyone, nowadays. I’ve lived up near Fresno for a year and a half now, and everybody had been telling me that the concert scene was awesome in Fresno/Visalia. Then, all of a sudden, everybody is playing three hours south of here XD

    I just want to specify, Chainsaw Majini– The shirt isn’t actually a Red Chord t-shirt…it’s the official The Red Chord Bowling Team shirt. Notice the bowling ball as the ‘O’. Unless you’re Metallica, you really shouldn’t ever wear your own bands’ shirt.
