ABIGAIL WILLIAMS HAVE DROPPED OFF THE NILE / IMMOLATION TOUR…

nile, immolation, krisiun, dreaming dead… and the lineup is that much stronger for it, if you ask us, because they were kind of the odd band out on this tour anyway. Seems that drummer Ken Meyers has been injured, but no other details have been released.

The MetalSucks-sponsored U.S. trek also features Krisiun and Dreaming Dead, the latter of whom Axl recently realized are the cats pajamas and then some. The tour kicks off TODAY in Baltimore, so make sure you check the list of dates after the jump to see when it rolls through your town.

    Well shit. I think Abigail Williams is pretty fucking epic, actually. They might’ve been the odd band out on this tour but “In The Shadow of a Thousand Suns” is a fucking killer album. They’re oldest shit is terrible, but they are definitely not the same band they were in 2003

      ya i agree shadow of a thousand suns does kick ass. ive seen em without a keyboardist and i like it better with it but its too bad they dropped. id still go to the show if i had monies it is a killer lineup.

    But now Rose Funeral’s saying they’re on this tour. Much rather have a good band that didn’t quite fit (Mantic Ritual with 3 black metal bands) than a bad band that doesn’t fit.

The shit is extreme fucking metal its not pussy shit. I used to think this great band sucked because of sites like this that put them in the wrong category and when I saw them live i was completely blown away. This is one really hardworking band that has had terrible lineup luck but has persevered through all of the crap and shit talk and hate and keeps doing what they are doing. How the fuck does a band like dreaming dead fit the tour better then AW? Or especially Rose Funeral who has taken their place on the tour? Oh good job metal sucks, sponsoring a tour with a band like Rose Funeral on it…

    I had my ticket as soon as I saw Nile on the setlist, any other bands were bonus. Never seen AG, so I won’t say anything negative about them. Hope to see some of you peeps at Amos

    Why did whoever’s in charge have to put that piece of shit band Rose Funeral on the bill to cover AW? Why not just have only four bands playing?

    …Seems like they need a deathcore band just to guarantee revenue from the young’uns, but I don’t think a tour with Nile headlining in support of a new album would do that badly.

    That being said, I wouldn’t mind seeing Immolation and Dreaming Dead. I bet Immo will debut some new songs.

      Saw em last night in Baltimore. Immolation did play two new songs, but I think they’re the same ones that are up on their myspace.

    Replacing Abigail Williams with Rose Funeral is like curing syphilis and then turning right around and getting AIDS.

    Considering what happened with Nile and Suicide Silence, I can’t imagine them lasting long on this tour.
