THE NUMBER OF THE VINCE

Monday, March 15th, 2010 at 4:00pm by

If you miss Vince’s regular contributions to MS while he’s away (and who doesn’t… sniff, sniff), then don’t fret: you can tide yourself over by reading this interview that The Number of the Blog recently conducted with the right honorable Mr. Neilstein. TNOTB, you may recall, is the site that recently took on Ziltoid as a writer. Hey, we all do shit for traffic sometimes.

ANYWAY, Zilty isn’t the one who conducted the interview (that would be his fellow MS reader/TNOTB founder groverXIII), so you shouldn’t let that deter you from reading it. And Vince has some good tips on running a website, how much actual work goes into it, how we’re not really stoned all the time, etc. Check it out here.

Actually that’d be me that conducted said interview… Grovers actually on vacation this week. t’s ok though we know we all run together when there are so many of us writing… Either that or we can chalk it up to to another one of those “stoner moments” :p

Judging by the Argument/Headache-inducing/ all around SHITE list you guys dreamed up…ya you’re stoned all the time.

I thought the porn star thing was hilarious. Dirty and probably fake as fuck because hey, she has an image to maintain but hey, who else can count a pornstar among the roster of their metal bloggers.

And hell, she may be the only one who’s taken anal from Lex Steele amongst your celebrity bloggers…maybe.

“Also, Friday is usually a touch lower than the rest of the week so we try and hold exclusive content for Mon-Thur.”

I’m guessing because everybody’s too busy catching up on the work they neglected on Mon-Thur to read MS on Friday?

(I’m posting this from work, by the way)

I didn’t know Vince and Axl were able to actually quit the day jobs. Very cool and many congrats are in order. I remember the early days of this site, and the traffic has certainly increased, along with the “validation” via interviews and tour sponsorships, et al.
