SO IS IT EDEN’S CURSE, OR THE LISTENER’S?

I wasn’t really familiar with Eden’s Curse before today, but I assumed they were a dork metal band. I made this deduction based on the following facts:

  • They’re called “Eden’s Curse.”
  • They recruited Dream Theater’s James LaBrie (Fun fact: his name is French for “the cheese”) to do vocals for their new single, “No Holy Man.”

Luckily, the band has now released the shittiest animated video this side of Motley Crue’s “Hell on High Heels” for that song. So, y’know, that should totally disprove naysayers like me. Yep, no reason for the band to feel embarrassed by this high quality promotional clip!

    Saw “Eden” and thought this was about the new Tesseract song they just put up. Severely disappointed :/

      god, you got me excited too! Anytime i see anything about Tesseract i get all fuzzy inside. That band is too good.

    So I honestly can’t tell the difference between their singer and LaBrie… the characters are different so I assume they are different singers. Of course a lot of (but not all) metal vocalists tend to sound the same to me.

        Hahah thanks! It was the very first thing that came to mind right after I read that LaBrie means “the cheese”. Also, I vote Rocko’s Modern Life for best show of the 90s, maybe even ever.

    I kinda liked their last album. But this is just wat to christian. Stryper like. I don’t mind bands who are religious even though i am not. But this is WAY too preachy and wierd. Ugh.

    Everything about that was painful. Also, what the hell is the point of having LaBrie do guest vocals when your primary vocalist already sounds like LaBrie? I’m sure Glen Benton would’ve been glad to come in and lend his vocal talents!

    This band is FAR from a “Christian” band. Please people stop talking out of your ass before you post garbage. Do some research. Check their other videos on youtube. They suck but they aren’t “Christian.” Having a song about a preacher who is corrupt and exposing Christendoms faults is not something a “Christian” metal band does.

      Additionally Christian band’s aren’t always bad, it’s just that this one is. Don’t get so butthurt.

    Honestly, I have listened to rock music and been to gis for over 35 years and these guys are singularly the most awful band I have seen. Not even close to being last in a pub ‘battle of the bands’ contest. How they even got into the same building as Dream Theater is beyond belief. Guys, whatever your day jobs are, please go back to them. Your album is hideous and your video is equivalent to a 14 year olds end of term project. Rock is not for you guys…give up now and go back to playing in your bedrooms in front of the mirror.

      Absolutely agree withe the guy above. Just seen them support Dream Theater at Wolverhampton. They SUCK!
      Let me rephrase that….. The their front man SUCKS! They need to drop him rethink and start again with someone who has a decent voice. Harsh I know but I found it hard to clap them.

      Dream Theater should have got “Seventh Wonder” to support them IMHO
