Video: Go Behind the Boards with Eyal Levi on Drum Production

Our brothers from the same mothers over at Gear Gods — a brand new destination for musicians in the heavy music community — have premiered a video series called “Behind the Boards” together with Daily Disruption, the same YouTube channel that’s brought you videos of moms watching music videos, rappers watching music videos, Frankie Palmeri’s shenanigans and more. This isn’t another silly series designed for maximum lulz, though; it’s an earnest look inside the recording studio with some of the genre’s biggest names.

In the inaugural episode Eyal Levi of Audiohammer Studios talks about drum production, specifically about drummer preparedness and some of the best drummers he’s worked with. Episode 2, coming next week, gets into a little more of the nitty gritty of the technical side, so stay tuned for that as well. Watch Episode 1 below.
