Listen: “Ronnie Rising,” Metallica’s Rainbow Medley from Upcoming Dio Tribute Album

As previously reported, April 1 will see the release of This is Your Life, a new Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund benefit album featuring everyone and their mother… including Metallica, who have contributed a nine-minute medley of songs from Dio’s time in Rainbow. (Specifically, the songs “A Light in the Black,” “Tarot Woman,” “Stargazer” and “Kill the King.”) You can listen below. It might be the best thing Metallica have recorded in two decades.
