“Everybody Dies” is probably my favorite song on The Hell’s new album, Groovehammer, in part because it’s catchy as fuck, but in part because of the inspirational message of the lyrics. For example:

“One day, your heart’s gonna stop and you’ll shit yourself, and eventually be… stuffed in a body bag and kept in a fucking filing cabinet until they decide to set you on fire or turn you into fertilizer.”

It’s funny because it’s true!

So. I’m delighted that the band has now released a video for “Everybody Dies,” even if that video is pretty standard hardcore-band-fucking-shit-up-at-a-small-show fare, just because I’m excited for you all to hear this song. Fingers crossed, in a few months we’ll all be screaming “EVERYBODY DIES! EVERYBODY FUCKING DIES!” at our local The Hell show.

Check out “Everybody Dies” below. Groovehammer comes out July 8 on Prosthetic.
