Linkin NarcUpdate, 9:31 am, 5/28/14: The PRP reports that TMZ reports that it was a member of Linkin Park’s security staff who called 5-0. Apparently, “Linkin Park felt badly and offered to replace the weed that was taken. But… [Sublime with Rome] refused and is still pretty pissed off about the whole thing.” Original story follows.

I’m not really a fan of Sublime with Rome, which is basically Sublime but with a singer who isn’t dead. Still, my heart goes out to ’em, ’cause according to vocalist/guitarist Rome Ramirez, they had a rrrrrreeeaaaallllyyyy shitty experience playing with Linkin Park at some festival called  KFMA Day in Tuscon, Arizona this past weekend:

Linkin Park’s Mike Shitoda denies that LP had anything to do with it, and although nobody hates Linkin Park more than I do,I’m actually inclined to believe him… because I can’t imagine anyone not on mood-enhancing drugs would write drek like “In the End,” let alone write drek like “In the End,” change the chorus and re-record drek like “In the End” over and over and over again for multiple albums before turning into a fifth-rate U2 wannabe. Only weed could make such boring crap seem even the least bit interesting.

Thanks: Brian P.
