Sunday To Get Uninvited

The irony of the doom/stoner metal-filled Uninvited Fest, happening this Thursday through Sunday in sewage-friendly Gowanus, Brooklyn, is that obviously you ARE invited and furthermore encouraged to attend. Duh!

And why wouldn’t one want to get down with such a killer 4-day lineup (including Weedeater, Elder, Orchid, The Shrine, Lecherous Gaze, Mothership, The Skull, Bl’ast, Black Cobra, Sasquatch, Bloody Hammers, Electric Citizen, Order of the Owl, Ruby the Hatchet, Marching Teeth, and many more), not to mention a skateboard half-pipe, plenty of food & drink, a kickass afterparty on Saturday night featuring legendary Wino and The National Reserve, and believe it or not — camping. Yes, that’s right: there are 50 or so “campsites” right near the outdoor stage area… I don’t expect there will be much sleep to be had in a makeshift campground populated by intoxicated metalheads, but undoubtedly there will be plentiful nonstop good times.

Bottom line: if you find yourself in Brooklyn this week, go check out this awesome 4-day event!!!!!
