Fear, Emptiness, Decibel: Stream Two Exclusive Songs from the Nails Flexi!

Napalm Death and Nails Decibel CoverThe past, present and future of light-speed brutality collide in February’s Decibel. Veteran grindcore institution Napalm Death grace their third cover, and SoCal hxc/punk upstarts NAILS hammer home their first-ever flexi.

Always the gold standard for both experimentation and integrity, Napalm are at the precipice of releasing ferocious new album Apex Predator – Easy Meat. Amid a tumultuous era for the Birmingham bashers (longtime guitarist Mitch Harris is on indefinite leave), frontman Barney Greenway, bassist Shane Embury and drummer Danny Herrera are pushing the envelope as violently — and thoughtfully — as ever, refusing to let disparate personalities stand in the way of their shared goal.

Then there’s Oxnard, CA’s unrelenting Nails, offering two brand new songs recorded exclusively for dB: “Among the Arches of Intolerance” and “In Pain.” Conjuring the frantic assault of L.A. deathgrind institution Terrorizer, Nails deliver their first taste of new music since 2013’s Abandon All Life, our 13th favorite album of that year.

There is an EXTREMELY LIMITED amount of copies of the February issue — which includes that NAILS flexi — available in the Decibel webstore now. Your move, creeps.
