Fallujah Announce New Album Dreamless, Release Cover Artwork, Make Us Very, Very Excited

0

Fallujah - Dreamless Is there any doubt that Fallujah are poised to become one of the biggest bands in metal if they continue on their current trajectory?

That was a rhetorical question, silly; it seems almost a forgone conclusion. If they can keep a solid lineup together and keep band business functional, that is, no small feat in these rough times for the music biz.

But so far, so good in that department: Fallujah just announced the pending release of their third album, Dreamless, set to be uncorked on April 29th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment (Monte Conner’s arm of NB), less than two years after 2014’s The Flesh Prevails. Hard to believe the Bay Area natives are only on their third album (plus an EP) given all the buzz they’ve mustered, yet it’s true; Fallujah are unquestionably one of metal’s rising stars. If you don’t get it yet, see them live and you will.

So, stay tuned for a track premiere, which we’re sure will happen soon enough. In the meantime, know that the album was recorded and produced by Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, Decrepit Birth, Suffocation, a bazillion other bands you like), mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis (every fucking band ever) and has another dope cover with a layout by vocalist Alex Hofmann (the art itself is by Peter Mohrbacher). So not only will it look great, but it’ll sound fucking phenomenal too (the only knock on The Flesh Prevails). The album features guest vocal appearances by Tori Letzler, Mike Semesky and Katie Thompson, with a guest solo appearance by Tymon Kruidenier (ex-Cynic).

Catch Fallujah on tour with The Black Dahlia Murder this spring. Meanwhile, stream The Flesh Prevails to get your stokage up:
