Epica Announce Tour with Lacuna Coil, Insomnium, and Elantris

Your first question about this tour is probably this: Who the fuck are Elantris??? Which is fair. The press release only refers to them as “newcomers,” which is a real “Yeah, no shit” description. Their Facebook page has no music on it. Google “Elantris” and the results are all references to a fantasy novel of the same name. They apparently used to be called Blackthorne; under that name, they made an album called This Sacrifice, which they re-released under their new moniker in February… but is still labeled under their original name on Spotify. It’s almost as though they don’t want people to hear it. Listening to it now, I can’t blame them — This Sacrifice just screams “LOCAL BAND!”

How did they end up on this tour? No idea. Very weird.

Your second question about this tour is probably this: What the fuck are the dates??? Which is a far easier question for us to answer…
