A Perfect Circle Tease New Music

Just a couple of days after frontman Maynard James Keenan suggested that A Perfect Circle would finally release new music in 2018, the band has released this teaser for a new song and/or album called “The Doomed.”

This will be the first time the band has released new music since 2004, when they included a couple of originals on their political covers album, eMOTIVe. If The Doomed turns out to be a full album and not just one track, it will be APC’s first since 2003’s Thirteenth Step. That’s actually longer than we’ve been waiting for a new Tool record by three years. So, hopefully we’re getting a new Tool album by 2020 at latest.

The band debuted two news songs, “Feathers” and “Hourglass,” while on tour earlier this year; they’re about to hit the road again, so it seems safe to assume they’ll be performing, or maybe even debuting, new material on this trek as well. Incidentally, MetalSucks is giving away tickets to every stop on that tour! Enter here for your chance to win. Sunday is the last day for entries before winners are selected, so don’t dawdle!!!
