MOTLEY CRUE’S NIKKI SIXX DEBUTS NEW SONG

20

MOTLEY CRUE bass-player and primary songwriter Nikki Sixx has debuted the first single from the soundtrack for his upcoming book The Heroin Diaries, a retrospective of Sixx’s hard partying days in the world’s hardest partying band. The new track is called “Life is Beautiful,” and features producer James Michael (SAMMY HAGAR, MOTLEY CURE, MEATLOAF), a collaborator Sixx often works with; the two penned SALIVA‘s hit “Rest in Pieces” together. DJ Ashba (ex-BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) plays guitar on the track, which opens with a thunderously rockin’ guitar riff that should please fans of Dr. Feelgood-era Crue.

Listen to the new song on Nikki Sixx’s MySpace page.
