ville-valo-6.jpgcorey-taylor-01.jpgAs previously reported, Stone Sour will release a new “deluxe” edition of their sophmore album, Come What(ever) May, on June 26 – less than a year after it was originally released. The new edition will feature a number of b-sides, including a cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game.”

This would seem like an unlikely number for a metal band to cover, but before you go patting the fellas from Des Moines on the back for ingenuity, remember that H.I.M. already covered this tune on their album Razorblade Romance – and that was seven years ago. And it was actually pretty good – I’ve always liked the way they took they took Isaak’s guitar part and rock n’ rolled it up.

So, yeah – take that, Corey Taylor. Now go make another Slipknot album.
