Oooohhhhhh goooooodd – another gay one-man extreme metal riff soldier? As everyone and their lesbian moms know, pink is the new black, which makes gay…the new straight? Not exactly, but Austin, TX’s Assacre is bringing a new aggressive fight to the proverbial homosexual table. One gay dude playing serious metal riffs that rival those of the almighty Dethklok, backed by a beat machine right out of the darkest carnage of hell. And he’s got a tune called “Gayer Than God”, so there’s that as well.
Assacre, aka Ben Aqua, has performed with The Locust, Lightning Bolt, The Sword, Cattle Decapitation, MetalSucks faves At All Cost, and many, many more. This guy can throw down, and you sorta gotta give it to any one-man metal band, right? Well…almost any.
