ARCHITECTS VERSUS ARCHITECT

So Architects (UK) have a new video, for their song “Day In Day Out.” I don’t really have anything to say about the visuals. If the director’s goal was to prove that he can shoot a commercial for Levi’s, well, mission accomplished.

I do wanna talk about the music, though. And everything I wanna say about the music can be summed up in this e-mail exchange we had with reader Keith Brown this past October:

So you guys have covered Architects before, I don’t know if you like them or not, but they just debuted the most shit-tastic song I’ve heard in the past six months (and I had an ex that listened to Nickelback). “Day In Day Out” is supposedly the most like their old stuff, and I am now officially pissed. I liked the fact that Architects didn’t sound “radio-friendly,” and they had a ton of kick ass songs on their last two albums.

I’m depressed, dudes. What do you think?

Dude, this is fucking sick!

Glad we could help, Keith.
