MAYHEM FESTIVAL CRUISE OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES LINEUP!

A couple of weeks ago we reported on the rumored cruise ship edition of the annual Rockstar Mayhem Festival summer package tour — as relayed to Metal Injection by Machine Head’s Robb Flynn in a black carpet interview at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards — and today the festival has officially announced the cruise, as well as the initial lineup. And holy shit, is it stacked!

The cruise will take place from December 7 through December 10 and will go from Miami, FL to Nassau, The Bahamas, and back. Lamb of God, Machine Head, Anthrax, Suicide Silence and more are on the main stage, while Periphery, Gojira, Battlecross, Gypsyhawk and others will be featured on the second stage with presumably many more bands to be announced.

The ship leaves the very same day another metal cruise trip (possibly in the same vessel?), Barge to Hell, returns from the exact same route; going on Barge to Hell to see At the Gates, Enslaved, Hypocrisy, Paradise Lost, Soilwork, Six Feet Under and a lot more, then going right back out to see the above on the Mayhem cruise would make one absolutely insane and epic metal vacation!
