A LIFE ONCE LOST’S ALBUM ART FOR ECSTATIC TRANCE IS TRIPPY

A Life Once Lost have released the Brian Baker-created album art for Ecstatic Trance, their first new album in five years, and it is frickin’ SWEET. For one thing, it doesn’t look anything like most metal album covers — if anything, it seems as though it should be the cover for a Hendrix record or something. But beyond that… the colors, man, the colors! How appropriate, given the album’s druggy title.

The group has also released a lyric video for the album’s debut single, “Madness is God,” which you can watch after the jump:

Ecstatic Trance comes out October 22 via Season of Mist. If you’re not excited about, go smack yourself in the face with a dead fish.
