The New Stone Sour Album is Streaming in Full, and It’s Really Good!

I was incredibly stoked on the two singles from Stone Sour’s House of Gold & Bones – Part 1, released this past fall, but ultimately felt that the album on the whole fell way short. The double album’s second part, House of Gold & Bones – Part 2, is now streaming in full, and I’m happy to report that I like it a whole lot more than Part 1.

I can’t just yet articulate why I like Part 2 better as I’m only on my second listen through, but I’m sure it’ll ultimately have to do with the simple fact that the songs are far more memorable. Nothing is as catchy as “Absolute Zero” and “Gone Sovereign” from Part 1, but, on the whole, the album is more consistent. It’s also slower, darker and more deliberate. I like, very much.

Yeah, I like the new Stone Sour and IDGAF wat u think!!! Solid, catchy, well-written hard rock. And, oh man, Corey Taylor’s voice, good God, I love it! So sexy.
