Drums by the side of the road

It’s just like my grandpa always told me: never go on a long road trip without a full tank of gas, a spare tire, and your drum kit. Y’know, in case you have some time to kill while dealing with vehicular issues.

From The Baltimore Sun:

“Maryland state troopers noticed a man playing a drum kit on the shoulder of the Interstate 695 inner loop, between Windsor Mill Road and Security Boulevard, around 10:30 a.m., a spokeswoman said.

“He told state police he had run out of gas and decided to set up and practice until assistance arrived. A State Highway Administration truck stopped and helped him refill his tank

“The drummer was not cited and continued on his way, she said.”

The drummer hasn’t been identified, although Metal Injection drolly hopes that “this dude was heading to the Maryland Deathfest, which kicks off tomorrow night.”

If anyone identifies this dude, please let us know. We just got word of a guitarist stuck a few miles up the road, and we’d like to set these two up so they can form a band.
