The New Abysmal Dawn Video is EPIC

Abysmal Dawn’s new video for “In Service of Time” has been more than a year in the making, but it was worth the wait. Directed and edited by Robert Mestas (he previously made their “My Own Savior” video and Vildhjarta’s video for “Benblåst”), the  clip was inspired by Fritz Lang’s science fiction masterpiece, Metropolis. And in addition to sharing some imagery with that legendary film (workers shuffling sadly in unison, double exposures of grinding gears, etc.), it shares that movie’s scope. It’s really, really cool… make sure you watch it:

“In Service of Time” appears on Abysmal Dawn’s Leveling the Plane of Existence, which is out now on Relapse. You can stream the entire album below.

Also, if you’ve somehow never seen Metropolis, you can stream that below, too. It’s awesome and you should do it.
