Friday’s bouts saw Van Hagar, Godsmack, Whitechapel, and L.A. Guns triumphing over Underoath, (hed) P.E., Winds of Plague, and Black Veil Brides — all without much trouble. But like we were sayin’… things are bound to start getting really competitive in the next round!

The once-venerable Ozzy has become a slapstick cartoon parody of his once-great self, and his vocal chords are shot to where Demon Hunter say we’re all going. On the other hand, Demon Hunter have fallen a much shorter distance than The Ozz Man… because they didn’t, y’know, help create heavy metal. Who deserves a pass? Vote below!
DISTURBED VS. KITTIE
One are known for their hit single with animal noises, the other, simply named after an animal. Kittie’s defenders claim that they take flack for being women, and for getting signed so young, while Disturbed’s defenders claim they take flack for 2 + 2 = 7. Smart ones, those Disturbed defenders.
