Hunter, Seeker, Warbringer

Although the Brooklyn stoner metalish cover art for their new album, IV: Empires Collapse, and the fact that they now have two new members, guitarist Jeff Potts and bassist Ben Mottsman (both from Mantic Ritual), might lead you think that Warbringer were going in some radical new direction… they aren’t. “Hunter Seeker,” the new ‘Bringer tune which just debuted on The Deciblog, suggests yet another album full of good-but-not-amazing rethrash, the kind of thing which will totally get your foot stomping if it’s playing in the background at the bar, but which you wouldn’t really bother to Shazam or anything because you already own five-hundred records that sound exactly like this.

In other words: you don’t have to hit “play” to know if you’re gonna dig “Hunter Seeker” or not.
