Get Down with Down’s New Song, “We Knew Him Well”
Well, this makes up for the lackluster new Metallica song: Stereogum has premiered a new track, “We Knew Him Well,” and it’s so thick and heavy it’s practically a milk shake (spiked with moonshine, no doubt). So, apparently, the loss of Kirk Windstein hasn’t really done any damage to Down’s sound. I love Windstein, but PHEW!, what a relief!!!
