Unstoppable Recording Machine: One-on-One Recording Lessons with Eyal Levi

0

Unstoppable Recording MachineAudiohammer Studios engineer/mixer/producer, one-time Daath guitarist and ongoing MetalSucks columnist Eyal Levi has been making a name for himself in the “how to” field of recording for metalheads, having hosted several online video seminars via CreativeLive. Now he’s taking his lessons to the next level, up close and in person, with a series of intensive, hands-on workshops this coming fall.

The tagline for Unstoppable Recording Machine, as the series has been dubbed, reads, “You’ll learn more in three days than a year of recording school,” and that’s probably not an exaggeration judging from Levi’s impressive resume (he’s worked with The Black Dahlia Murder, Chelsea Grin, The Contortionist and many, many more). Each workshop, hosted in a professional studio in a different city in the U.S., will consist of three 10-hour sessions over the course of three days. Here’s the full description:

Get a first-person look behind the scenes of world-class modern metal production when Eyal takes over a studio near you. The dates will be intense, hands on, comprehensive immersion style experiences — think “bootcamp for engineers.” In just a few days, we’ll cover what would take a year or more in traditional school.

The first scheduled workshop will take place October 3-5 in Cleveland with another one scheduled for December 5-7 in Portland, OR. Sound like something you’d be interested in? Get more info and sign up here.
