Tomorrow: Black Crown Initiate Take Over MetalSucks’ Instagram!

If you’re a regular MetalSucks reader, you already know how much we love Reading, PA’s Black Crown Initiate. Like their fellow Reading natives and soon-to-be tourmates, Rivers of Nihil, Black Crown Initiate play top-notch, no frills modern death metal that seamlessly combines expert musicianship with stellar songcraft, and doesn’t engage in any bullshit trends or riff salad. Or, put more simply: they rule! And their upcoming eOne release, The Wreckage of Stars (out September 30), is one of the most confident and impressive debuts of the year.

The band kicks off the “Reading Rainbow Tour” with the aforementioned Rivers of Nihil TOMORROW NIGHT in Buffalo, NY, and to celebrate, we’re doing something extra-extra-EXTRA fun: we’re giving Black Crown Initiate control of the official MetalSucks Instagram account for the whole day!!! We have absolutely no idea what they’re gonna do with it, but we are pretty confident that it’s gonna be rad.
