Inter Arma and Yautja Go on Toura
I know it’s not February yet, but I feel like spring is just around the corner. So much to look forward to! Warm weather! Sunlight! Beautiful people coming out of hibernation on the streets of New York City!
And now there’s this to look forward to, also: a tour starring Inter Arma and Yautja!
I’ve only recently become familiar with Yautja, after MetalSucks’ own Dave Mustein named their album Songs of Descent one of the best of 2014. Truth be told, I’m not even sure I know how to pronounce their name, which is apparently a Predator reference too geeky even for me (I’m guessing it’s “Yowt-jaw,” but who the hell knows — in the post-Rwake era, all bets are off). But whatever! They rock, and I’m stoked to get to check ’em out live for the first time.
I am quite familiar, on the other hand, with Inter Arma, and they rule. If you need to be sold on going to see this tour, watch this video of their headlining performance at last year’s MetalSucks/Metal Injection CMJ Showcase. It’s like, “BOOM, muthafucka!!!”, right?
