Deafheaven’s Next Sunbathing Location: New Bermuda

Get ready for what’s sure to be one of the year’s most divisive releases: an October 2 release has been announced for New Bermuda, the third offering from Deafheaven. The cover art is a little less memorable than that for their last album, Sunbather, and a lot less likely to end up on an iPhone commercial… but it’s also really cool, and, as Metal Insider points out, more traditionally metal. Check it out below; the painting is by Allison Schulnik.There’s no music for us to listen to an argue about yet, but those of you who are already down with Deafheaven can pre-order New Bermuda here.
