Get Your First Taste of Chris Adler’s Megadeth Megadrums

So, remember how Megadeth started counting down to something on their website last week?

Well, there’s now roughly a minute of Chris Adler’s drum track for what we can safely assume is the album’s first single. Metal Injection wisely surmises that the Megasite will “just keep playing new tracks every day that layer into a new song.” That new song will apparently be the song “Fatal Illusion,” which Amazon says is scheduled for release on October 16.

(Quick digression: Fatal Illusion is my favorite Lifetime movie, like, ever!)

Meanwhile, Megadeth’s countdown clock continues to count down. So it also seems clear we’ll know the name and release date of the new Megadeth album on Friday. Yay.
