Saturday To Get Super Duper Serial Like A MANHAWKPIG Threesome

0

FUCK BEARS.

The time has long come and gone and cmanbearpigwantedome right fucking back again to get supercalifragilisticsexxxpialidociously SERIAL about all the impotent important feels and things in your life. Be who you be, do what you do, and make this time uniquely special – nobody else can offer your particular gifts to this world, and the rest of us need you.

Don’t ever forget that.

Today I am serially excited to offer some powerful sounds from two thunderous threesomes trios, one from each coast.

The first is a deep, doomy group out of Seattle called Serial Hawk. These manly mofos have recently released a mighty new album on Bleeding Light Records called Searching For Light (full album stream on Invisible Oranges), and are currently on tour slaying hearts and minds with a deliriously obscene amount of amplification.

I can’t wait to catch them at The Acheron in Brooklyn (with even more obscenely amplified gruesome twosome Jucifer) on October 11th, and you should make it a point to catch them in your stupid town as well.

No yoke – I’m being super duper serial here.

Buy Serial Hawk’s album and find tour dates on its Bandcamp or Facebook pages.

Pigs_Wronger_CMYK72dpiThe other mighty gang of three I’m featuring today is beautifully gritty noise rockers PIGS from right here in Brooklyn, USA. The band’s last album You Ruin Everything blew me away (listen in full here), and new offering Wronger (coming out on Solar Flare Records on 10/2) is unsurprisingly another killer output. This underground supergroup of sorts (which includes Dave Curran from Unsane, mega-cool producer Andrew Schneider, and Jim Paradise from Freshkills) has fashioned a unique album that effortlessly spews attitude, snarling wit, and even triumphant melodic progressions that make you want to wrestle bears.

Dig on the full album stream at the Revolver Magazine website, pre-order it here, and catch PIGS on an upcoming European tour with labelmates Sofy Major (who incidentally have a new album called Waste coming out on 10/29 – stream the first single via Noisey).

As if you needed any more inspiration to get out of bed today, here’s some more sonic love for all the men/bears/PIGS in your life….watch over them like a HAWK, and feed em cereal for breakfast today.
