Baroness Are Here To “Shock Me”

We’ve seen a lot of lead-up to the release of Baroness’ Purple, including a film about the writing process, a video about the art creation, and a short on drummer Sebastian Thomson. I think we’ve officially reached the point where what we want more than anything is the music.

And thankfully, today we get some. The band has released a second new track titled “Shock Me”, for which you can see the lyric video below. And while I liked the previous track the band released from Purple, “Chlorine & Wine,” “Shock Me” is much more my speed. It’s fast, it’s driving, and it has a lot more of the band’s really accessible side to it.
