Ghost Brigade No Longer a Brigade

Really really smart guy and cookie creator Sir Isaac Fig Newton famously said that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. And since Bleeding Through are reuniting (action), a good band is dissipating (reaction):

Which fucking blows. Ghost Brigade are the kind of band we all at least kinda-sorta take for granted: their albums were consistently solid but never revolutionary, and they were released on a fairly regular schedule, so everyone just assumed they’ll be around making good music ’til whenever and went on stroking themselves in anticipation of the new Gojira album. But they made four excellent melodeathdoom albums in seven years, which is no small feat.

Oh well. At least they had the good sense to call this a hiatus. Hopefully a few years apart re-lights their fire and they come back stronger than ever.
