Pig Destroyer to Reissue Terrifyer and Phantom Limb on Vinyl

Don’t own Pig Destroyer’s masterpieces of grind, Terrifyer (2004) and Phantom Limb (2007), on vinyl? Don’t worry, we’re not judging: they’ve been out of print for twelve and nine years, respectively, meaning you either bought ’em when they came out, or you paid a hefty fee on eBay.

But that will all change next month! The band’s label, Relapse, has announced that they’ll reissue vinyl editions of both albums on February 12 in multiple, limited edition colors. Each reissue will also include tracks from the albums’ Japanese releases (four songs on Terrifyer, two on Phantom Limb), meaning these are actually superior to whatever you’d buy from some gnarly dude on the web.

Here’s a trailer for the reissues:

You can pre-order these vinyls here. And in the event you’ve never heard these albums (SHAME ON YOU — now we are judging), I’ve included them below. You’re welcome.

Also: the band has live dates coming up! I’ve included those below, too. You are, once again, welcome. Thank you gifts in the form of marijuana will be accepted at the Brooklyn show.

Also also: vocalist JR Hayes and electronics madman Blake Harrison are both gonna be on Maryland’s WMUC on January 30. You can get details/stream the station here.

PxDx live dates:

Feb 26-28 Tilburg, NL Netherlands Deathfest
Mar 11 Brooklyn, NY Music Hall of Williamsburg
Apr 08 Chicago, IL Reggies
Apr 09 Minneapolis, MN Triple Rock Social Club
Oct 20 – 23 Tucson, AZ Southwest Terror Fest V
