Axl Rose’s Piano Has a Ghost

So there Guns N’ Roses were, playing “November Rain” in Houston, Texas this past Friday evening, when this happened:

The takeaway here is not that Rose’s piano is overrun with “ghosts or gremlins,” as Rose jokes, but, rather, the mere fact that Rose’s reaction to the snafu is to joke at all. Remember, in the old days, when Rose’s gear wasn’t functioning properly, this is how he’d react:

So after almost thirty years as a professional musician, it seems that Rose has finally found the right cocktail of meds to keep his shit together. It should be interesting to hear what the lyrics are like on the next GN’R record. “Welcome to jungle, we’ve got fun n’ games… which one would you like to play? I enjoy Parcheesi, but I’d be happy to reach some sort of compromise if you have another preference, friend.”
