Warfather, Featuring Morbid Angel’s Steve Tucker: New Album Promises to be a “Death Metal Tour the Force”

You may recall that back in 2007, then-Dååth vocalist Sean Farber announced that he was leaving the band via this adorable remark:

“We all have a limited time on this sphere of possibilities. For all intensive purposes, the years I have to be viable enough to do anything with are approaching the halfway mark.”

Farber’s departure turned out to be a boon for Dååth, who replaced Farber with Sean Z., trading up both in terms of vocal skill and general knowledge of the English language.

Now we have this ad for Warfather’s new album, The Grey Eminence, which promises that the record will be a “death metal tour the force!” At least “intensive purposes” sort of makes sense as a phrase; I don’t even know what “tour the force” could possibly mean. It sounds like it should be a ride in the Star Wars section of Disneyland.

Warfather Tour the Force Ad

Who the fuck wrote this, Shaun Glass?

Whenever I see a mistake like this, I wonder how many people it had to get through without anyone noticing or saying anything. Hm.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go tour the force in search of my intensive purposes.

Thanks: Saul Hudson
