Mouth of the Architect’s Star Will Never Fall

  • Axl Rosenberg

Mouth of the Architect have never been shy about incorporating melodious elements into their music — but based on the two songs we’ve heard from their new album, Path of Eight, this release is going to the band’s daydreamiest yet. The second of those songs, “Fallen Star,” has just been debuted by Decibel, who note that the track “sees Mouth of the Architect reach for spacier and more progressive territory while also retaining the elements of their sound that they’ve become known for.” I’d argue that the same could be said for the first song, “Drown the Old.” My point being, it sounds as though the Path of Eight will lead right up into the atmosphere.

Get lifted by “Fallen Star” below. Path of Eight comes out October 7 on Translation Loss. Pre-order it here.
