Listen: Is Overkill’s “Our Finest Hour” Their Finest Hour?

Overkill are just about due for a new album, and that new album is on the way: entitled The Grinding Wheel, the album will tentatively be released in February. Which isn’t nearly as far away as it sounds, but is still kinda far away.

Not that Overkill are leaving their fans high n’ dry: the band has just released a new song, “Our Finest Hour,” to tide you over for a bit. It sounds more or less exactly like classic Overkill — it would be easy to convince someone it was recorded circa The Years of Decay — so I can’t imagine anyone who digs Overkill not digging it.

Dig it:

The “Our Finest Hours” single will be released in a variety of editions on November 4. Pre-order it here. The band also has a whole lotta tour dates coming up in 2017. Get those below.
