Watch Mastodon’s Bizarre and Hilarious Teaser for Their New Album

The new Mastodon album may tell the story of “a desert-like version of the Grim Reaper” as a metaphor for cancer, but that doesn’t mean the band have lost their sense of humor: they’ve released two goofy-assed teaser videos for the record, one starring bassist/vocalist Troy Sanders, the other starring drummer Brann Dailor. Unfortunately, neither contains any new music… but they’re both highly entertaining.

Check ’em out below. The band has yet to announce the title or release date for the album, but they head out on tour with Eagles of Death Metal and Russian Circles in April (dates here), so figure it will be sometime around then.
