Tool guitarist Adam Jones has offered an extensive update on the new Tool album in the form of the below parody of the “one finger challenge”:

Ha-HA! Hilarious and informational: as a result of Jones’ insistence on secrecy, we can now deduce that the working title of at least one new Tool song would somehow spoil the record. It must be called “Long Song with Lots of Guitar Solos” or “Still Waiting on Maynard Lyrics” or “At the End of Split [redacted].” How exciting!

The new Tool album is tentatively scheduled for release sometime this millennium.
