We Filmed John Petrucci, Misha Mansoor, Zakk Wylde, Alex Skolnick and More at The 2017 NAMM Show

Our sister site Gear Gods — the only site for musicians in the heavy music community — filmed over 100 videos at The 2017 NAMM Show… and now those videos have all been posted!

The bulk of the coverage comes in two forms: 1) Quick run-throughs of all the newest products released by the best companies making products for metalheads, including Jackson, ESP, Ibanez, Dunlop, Legator, etc., and 2) Artist performances and demos, often using those very products.

For today, we want to highlight some of the footage we grabbed of big-name artists either performing or introducing their new signature products. Check out a few clips below, including John Petrucci introducing his new line of Music Man “Majesty” guitars, Periphery’s Misha Mansoor announcing his new amp head with Peavey, an interview with Zakk Wylde about his guitar company Wylde Audio, performances by 14-string shredder Felix Martin and Testament’s Alex Skolnick, and sneak peeks at new signature products from Revocation’s Dave Davidson and Twelve Foot Ninja’s Stevic McKay.
