M-EGG-ADETH: Megadeth’s “Symphony of Destruction” Played with Eggs
Did you enjoy Rob Scallon’s recent rendition of Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” played entirely with bells? Well, then, you will almost certainly enjoy Pete Cottrell‘s new version of Megadeth’s “Symphony of Destruction” created using eggs. Kind of amazingly, the egg stuff doesn’t detract from the song, which I guess is a testament to how kick-ass of a tune it is. Also pretty great: Rob Lundgren’s vocals. I really dig the high harmony he added to the chorus. It’s the simple things in life, right?
