Listen: Mutoid Man Team Up with Chelsea Wolfe on “Bandages”

  • Axl Rosenberg

Mutoid Man’s new song, “Bandages,” is beautiful and sad and heavy all at once. So it’s wholly appropriate that band enlisted Chelsea Wolfe and her longtime collaborator, Ben Chisholm, to provide additional vocals and “auxiliary instrumentation.” If any phrase ever described Wolfe’s music, it’s “beautiful, sad, and heavy.”

Check out “Bandages” below, courtesy of Stereogum. The track will appear on Mutoid Man’s new album, War Moans, which comes out June 2 on Sargent House. Pre-order it here. The band kicks off a tour with Helms Alee a couple of days later; get dates here.
