The Contortionist are Teasing… Something

The Contortionist haven’t released a new album in nearly three years, 2014’s stunning, genre-bending Language.

It seems as if things are ramping up in The Contortionist camp, though: not only were they recently announced as an opening act on Between the Buried and Me’s 10th anniversary Colors tour, but they released a trailer that looks to be a tease for a new album. The band was in the studio this past January with producer Jamie King, so the timing would certainly make sense.

A 17-second clip they posted on Facebook yesterday hints at something called “Clairvoyant.” New album title? New track name? Whatever it is, we’ll probably find out very soon… and we’re very, very excited.
