The Contortionist, Within the Ruins, Enterprise Earth, Bodysnatcher and Plague Years Announce Livestream Event!

As the livestream era of concerts approaches the end of its first year, these events have taken on something of an established format, which typically features a full-length set by only one band. Many of those experiences have been fantastic (in lieu of IRL events, anyway), but we sure do miss the days when you’d have the variety of seeing several bands in one night.

But metal record label heavy hitters Entertainment One (eOne) have something special in store for April: a five-band livestream bill featuring some of the best talent on their varied roster!

Progressive metal collective The Contortionist will headline the event, their first live set of 2021, with support from progressive deathcore outfit Within The Ruins, technical death metallers Enterprise Earth, brutal deathcore merchants Bodysnatcher, and crossover death thrashers Plague Years. The event will be hosted by Ethan Harrison of Great American Ghost, and the festivities will take place on Saturday, April 3, at 3:00pm EDT / 12:00pm PDT.

That’s a helluva lineup! What’s more, here’s one small silver lining of Covid: while you might expect to pay $30-$40 (or more?) for the privilege of seeing all those bands perform in a venue together, this livestream is a mere TWELVE DOLLARS! Wow. And you won’t have to worry about parking, gas/transportation costs, expensive drinks or that really tall dude who seems to stand in front of you no matter where you go.
